@Kylie Greenan: thanks so much, Kyles. Although it looks like being processed heavily, I actually didn't do anything but raise the contrast a bit which made the dark area turn black. Sometimes life can be easy...unfortunately, most of the time it's not :-)

@Lorraine: that's so kind of you, Lorraine. Since i got me my first camera ever this year and started to take pictures (unfortunately lacking time to go out regularly), I've been to forests, beaches, parks, etc...Something I rarely did before. the viewfinder makes me appreciate the little things much more; things which I would have taken for granted otherwise. Like for example this swan.

@zOOm: eh ben, j'aimerais bien naturellement! un café, flâner, peut-être même qq photos,...bref..tout à fait mon style :-) Mieux de m'informer en avance ainsi que je pourrais arranger un jour de congé. Je ne travaille pas à Bxl et hors du boulot, je suis presque toujours occupé avec des autres occupations. Un de mes autres passe-temps, c'est la danse...4 fois par semaine. ça explique pourquoi je répond toujours avec un peu de retard :-) Un grand merci pour le commentaire d'aujourd'hui. Si simple et si sophistiqué..oui, c'est moi :-)) Et si tu ne passes plus à Bxl, Paris n'est pas trop loin non plus pour aller prendre un café, n'est-ce pas :-)

@JJ: why thank you, JJ. I actually never observed a swan in this fashion and I must say, it's a pretty amazing bird. Very impressive when it's taking off. Due to the large wingspan, it makes quite some noise.
