I really like the desaturated colours, the detail of the scattered yet overcast cloud formations. You've kept this wide open in space and frame and it works so well!

@bluechameleon: A sincere thank you from the other side of the ocean, mademoiselle. :)
If I wasn't sure about yesterdays desaturation (too much perhaps) and the composition (too central perhaps)...this perspective, colouring and use of the wide angle footpath to draw you in is really quite special. Your best work.

@Ted: yesterday was a more classic approach and indeed less interesting. ...the wide angle footpath to draw you in... as you state, is exactly the reason why I like this one better myself. But there's still a lot of room for improvement. Thank you very much for the kind words, Ted! Cheers.
Lovely tones and leading lines here. Nicely done...

@dj.tigersprout: Thank you, deejay! first hdr pic for me...and it's fun to do, so definitively more hdr in the near future. Also, i'm too lazy finding a good title for the pics I take/post :-)
I really like the muted colours here. I was surprised to read that this is an HDR picture. More photographers should follow this lead and tone down the colours instead of the look so many HDR pictures take on.

@Jim Bridges: That is a nice compliment. Especially from someone with such an amazing photoblog. I've only just started recently taking my first pictures...about time after more than 30 years...but I believe I'm liking it :-). Although, I'm still experimenting a lot with colors, tones, compositions, subjects, etc. I suppose that's part of the eternal learning phase in photography. Your feedback is more than appreciated. Thank you, Jim!
